How our business works for you

We endeavour to procure bespoke free no obligation quotes from potential suppliers of products and services to each of our customers, such as you, that make enquiry via our website. This is a quote finding and introduction service; we do not ourselves provide the underlying products and services you require.

We aim to provide up to 5 quotes within 36 hours from your online completion of an enquiry working in conjunction with a data processor which specialises in the delivery of competitive supplier quotes.

To be able to deliver suitable quotations we must send your personal data and the details of your requirements to potential suppliers.

Your consent

To provide our service we first explain in more detail how we use your personal information so that the consent you give us in the next paragraph is fully and fairly informed.

You automatically give us consent to use your personal information as outlined in this privacy statement when you manually enter information about yourself on our website and submit it as a request to receive our quote finding service. The consent allows us to use your data as described in this statement of privacy policy. You may withhold your consent simply by declining to submit the information in which case the information you have entered on the form instead will not be used.

You may seek further information about the scope of the consent as well as vary or withdraw your consent as outlined under the heading “What are my rights in relation to the personal data that you hold?”

What information do we collect?

We obtain personal information about you only from you and do not acquire information about you from anyone else.

We obtain personal information about you in two ways. The first is manual when you input data on our website explaining who you are and the products or services for which you seek quotes. The second is electronic when your computer connects with ours via the Internet.

First, to provide our quote finding service we will ask you manually to supply us via the website with your personal details namely: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Telephone Number, Street, House Number and Post Code. You may also be asked on the website and by follow up telephone call for further information to help us process your request for quotations.

Second, information is obtained electronically when one computer connects with another across the Internet as when you visit our website such as such as your computer’s unique numerical Internet address (IP address). Information so obtained while necessary to the operation of and communication between computers may well also allow you as owner of the information to be identified, much like a name and address, and thus constitute personal data. The law requires such information to be identified and so far as practicable, for informed consent to be given by you, before the electronic information is passed from your computer to ours. Further explanation about the automatic electronic collection of your information is provided under the heading “Your electronic information”.

How does our service work?

After you submit your details we may phone you to discuss the products or services you seek from a suitable supplier, to check we'll be able to meet your needs and, should you decide to go ahead with us, to get you free and no-obligation quotes. Usually this is a company is us unless we use some other data processor specialist to provide several quotes. The calling company will state who they are and the purpose of the call. The quotes are usually provided to you by appointment or electronically - you will be told over the phone if so.

How we get the quotes using your details

We take your details and pass them on to one or more companies that can provide the sort of product or service that you are looking for and will invite those companies to submit quotes for your consideration.

Our data processor will pre vet all companies that join our quote finding service as potential suppliers to our customers, such as you, to ascertain as best we can that they will be suitable for your requirements and will keep your data safe. However, the final responsibility for determining suitability to supply the underlying product or service lies with you, the customer, when considering the detailed quotations and deciding if to contract with a chosen supplier.

Keeping your details safe…

Each supplier to whom we pass your information in order to provide several quotes has contracted with us to keep your data safe and use it only for the provision of a quote and, if selected by you, to provide the product or services you require.

Our data processor will always have contracts in place with all the companies that we pass your details on to ensure that they will keep your data secure and that they comply with the rules of the GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation) which we also operate within.

Please be assured - we will not use your details for marketing or use or pass your details to third parties other than as described in this statement without clear permission from you additional to that described above and we require matching contractual assurances from our suppliers to keep your data safe.

Finally, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Data Retention Policy

We keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed. This is to reduce the risk that it will become inaccurate, out of date or irrelevant.

We ensure that your personal data is securely disposed of when no longer needed.

Automated Decision-Making Right – you may require us not to make decisions about you relying solely only on a computer decision.

Breach Notification Right – if in the unlikely event there occurs a breach of security which is likely to result in a high risk to your rights as a data subject, we must inform you without undue delay.

How else can we help?

Rights aside, if you have a change of heart and do not wish us to pass your information to potential suppliers or another introducing company please let us know immediately by email or, should we call you, during our phone conversation and we will remove your information from our/ their systems.
